Hands come first at Hestra -- quality gloves providing warmth and protection for your outdoor or city adventures designed in Sweden
For over 80 years, Hestra has been producing one thing: gloves. The company began in the small village of Hestra, Sweden in 1936 first making gloves for lumberjacks and then mountaineers. Still family-owned, Hestra now has over 400 styles with a glove for every person or activity. All of Hestra’s gloves are manufactured in their own factories and they select all of the leather, wool, and other material to ensure a high level of quality.
While known for its technical alpine collection, Hestra also makes exceptional, stylish gloves for everyday life. Taking the same durable leathers, wool, and Primaloft insulation from the technical range and reimaging them in sleeker, refined style, the Hestra fashion collection is perfect for transitioning from the city to the mountains and back again.
Why I chose it
I’ve skied in Hestra gloves in the Vermont cold for years, so I wanted to offer the same warmth and protection with an added element of style for your everyday adventures. In meeting with the Hestra team and learning about the gloves, I was impressed with the care that goes into every glove design and the expertise that comes from producing just one type of product for decades. Hestra really are the experts on gloves.
